Custom admin menu access

Hi all,

I’ve created a site where all user can create groups, but the groups only shows after the group is approved.
I want to create a custom user role to admin groups only, so I’m using User Role Editor. But when I grant the group_admin role the Groups capabilities the Groups element doesn’t show on this user admin menu and the user can’t access to admin.php?page=bp-groups pages.
Is there a way to force that this user only has the Groups menu element on his admin dashboard?

I do not think so.
They would need this capability: bp_moderate
But only users that can ‘manage_options’ on this site can ‘bp_moderate’.
And you do not want to give them manage_options capability

Ok, I thought that.

So basically I’m going to need to grant user manage_options capability and then hide every every admin menu except the groups one.
