Custom code for upload profile pic img

Right now i am having problem like i am using wpforms as upload and it store my image in media and what i want to do is it should either take media image for its avatar or i should upload it through the custom code in functions.php i have searched about upload img and try some chtgpt but it is not working. can you tell me what can i do and if possible can you send code for profile pic image upload.
