Custom editor not allowing all tags?

Hello everyone,
I use nicedit text editor instead of textarea in my buddypress theme. but the theme not allowing all tag support to my content. and also output of the editor is coming in HTML format. will you suggest me what should i do?
Eg. I use editor in profile section by creating a custom profile field named about me. and when i update this field by nicedit editor. it gives output in html formate like b, em tag and strip other tags like ul, li font color and font size,
please guide me
