BuddyPress.org

I am trying to add a custom post meta boxes within BuddyPress that will allow an admin to select a check box to add a VOTE button to a Blog Post Activity update.

Ive added the custom meta box and it work’s fine, but cannot get the button to display on the activity listing. This is something I typically do in WordPress with ease but cannot get it to work in BuddyPress. Has anyone attempted this before?
