Custome editable register and activate pages.

I have created a .mo file to set the text on these pages. However this is not user friendly, I need to make the text and title easily editable and up-datable.

In WordPress pages I have created ‘register’ and ‘activate’ pages, and set these in buddypress > settings > pages.

I see that there are currently two versions of register.php, one is in bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/members/register.php

For testing purposes I deleted all the content in the (bp-legacy/buddypress/members/register.php) file. On the front end this causes the register page to be blank, except for the title. If is not coming from register.php, I wonder where the title is coming from? Editing the backend title or content of the page itself has no effect on the display of the page, so the title is not coming from there either.

Editing the language file changes the title, but still doesn’t reveal how it is getting onto the register page.

I’m hoping it is possible to hook into whatever Buddypress function is writing the page and insert a WordPress loop with title, content or whatever from the actual WordPress ‘register’ page. If so then we could make edits to the register page from the backend, yeah easy!

(I don’t know what the second register.php (/bp-themes/bp-default/registration/register.php) is for.)

WP Version: 3.8 with Twenty Fourteen Theme
    BP Version: 1.9.1
