Hi Everyone,

I am pretty new to BuddyPress and have a few questions:

Is it possible to automatically refresh the “Recent Posts” widget every few seconds rather than on a complete page refresh? I have tried a couple plugins and they didn’t work too well.
When users register, I added a “Gender” option. Is it possible to specify different avatar based on which gender they choose (ie. pink for female, blue for male)?
Lastly, I have had a few phony users sign up and create accounts. Is there a known, reliable way to reduce or eliminate this?
