disable commenting on ALL activity-items ?

    is there a way to disable commenting for ALL activity-items at the homepage ?

    I do see the option in the Admin to “Disable activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts”
    but is there a way to disable commenting for ALL activity-items ?

    I mean: commenting should be allowed, but not at the activity-stream directly.

    I think there is not..

    it would be nice option to have..

    some people get confused.. and instead of posting on group forums.. post in activity box

    is there any way to remove the ‘box? :)
    or just let Moderator/admin to post announcements?

    @erich73 You’ll have to hack the core; return false from the bp_activity_can_comment() function. If you could post this as an enhancement ticket to add a filter, that would be great :)
