Disappearing comments/replies in the activity stream! help!

    I am noticing that some comments/replies on the activity stream are disappearing… I know because I have seen certain activities that I know were commented on many times and the view them and only see one comment. Plus will get a notification that says “member1, member4 and others replied to this” and when I go there, there is only one comment…

    Any ideas what is going on here? Using latest wordpress and buddy press 1.5.3

    Are you using the BP Labs plugin? Could any other admins be deleting those activity items after they are posted but before you read them?

    I am the only admin and yes I am using BP Labs.

    I have the same problem. I can see the entire thread when I go to http://growthedge.net/members/simon-d-orsogna/activity/143/ but there are lots of replies missing from the main activity stream, and there are replies missing from http://growthedge.net/members/simon-d-orsogna/activity.
    This is a members-only site, so you won’t be able to see the problem, but I’ll do what I can to help debugging, this is really irritating my clients.
    I’m not using BP Labs.

    Have just looked at the database. The replies/comments that aren’t appearing are of component ‘activity’ rather than ‘groups’. Could that be the problem?
