Display “add friend” button within a custom members loop

Hi,
i created a custom members loop. so instead of using the bp_has_members i have an array of member ids and i display the members within a foreach loop. the loop mostly works fine but
“ won’t display the “add friend” button.
does anyone have an idea to accomplish that?thank you
