Display blog posts on profile and posting

I would like to use Buddypress on a multi-author blog with a single WP 3.0 installation (so not a WP MU installation).
However I have two problems
1. I can see no direct link to posting a random blog post in the navbar. How can I put a link there to make the “New Post” tab in the Wp-admin area accessed with only 1-click?
2. I would also like to see the past blog posts of a user listed at his profile with a separate tab under the Activity tab next to his Personal, Friends, Groups etc. activity. How can I do that?
