Display name unique

Does anyone know how to make the ‘display name’ or ‘actual name’ unique?

I think I am right in saying that there has to a validation in ‘registration.php’ and a unique index applied to the field in the MySQL database – is this correct?

This is important because I can basically clone myself to be anyone because I can change the “name” to be whatever I want. For example I can change my “name” to be Devweb and the program doesn’t stop me.

If Devweb’s problem is not easily fix can I ask how do you make the LOGINNAME = FULLNAME? this way I don’t have to deal with my issue.
