Do I need MU experience to use BuddyPress

Hello, I am a long time WP user, but have never used MU before. Should I be over on the MU site learning before I get involved with BP?

I’d say YES. You should at least know basic of wpmu before using buddypress.

MU isn’t that much different in my experience.
