Does buddypress support markdown?

Is there a plugin or anything to enable markdown for buddypress?

I learned about a bbpress plugin doing a similar thing: https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/integrate-with-jetpack-markdown/ ,so can we make it happen with buddypress? I mean, in groups, events and so on.

Not currently. A markdown plugin would be great for BuddyPress activity posts and comments, private messages and so on, but to my knowledge there isn’t one available right now.
