Does Buddypress work exactly the same way with wp?

Hi,

We’re running news sites om WordPress and wants to integrate community functions by using Buddypress.

Does it run in the exact same way even if you don’t use MU? Or are there strong reasons to migrate to MU?

Only use MU if you want multiple blogs on the same install (or if you want to let your users create their own blogs on your site). BuddyPress is otherwise identical.

If you want users to have their own blog us MU. Otherwise, it’s the same thing on WP
