over the years, this issue has popped up repeatedly, and it’s back again.

how do we make sitewide activity work properly nowadays?

i’d rather not “state” a desired behavior – i just want the sitewide activity stream to work in an understandable and “not confusing” way — and definitely not in a way the embarrasses the site owner…

so just “something that works well but does not double post” would be my goal…

make sense?
