Hi everyone,

I’d like to start by apologizing since I know there are 2 threads on this topic already, but reading and trying the different methods in those threads I still can’t seem to solve my problem.

I need a link to appear in the menu bar that allows the logged in user to go directly to his/her profile, it would also be great if it were a drop down link allowing them to check there inbox/outbox and friends lists. I have tried adding code in the functions.php file, which gave me the white screen of death and I had to reinstall my theme to fix that, I’ve also been trying the custome profile link plugin but I can’t seem to get that to work either.

I’m a newb when it comes to coding and wordpress but I’m determined to resolve this issue, I’m on the Customizr theme if that helps.

So just to be clear, I need this link to appear in the main menu, I need it to direct logged in users to their profile (and hopefully drop down to show messages) and to Direct logged out users to the registration page.

Again I realize this has been discussed and resolved before but if someone could help me step by step I would appreciate it immensely.
