In the WP admin under BuddyPress in the left side bar you can create more than one profile edit screen. Click profile field set up. Then you can create things for users to fill out on their profile. The default screen is called base but you can change that name.
Thank you, modemlooper, for your simple and clear guidance. After reading other threads that involved changing code and such, your email gave a much easier solution. I wouldn’t have thought to click the word “base” in the setup profile field section, if I hadn’t read this thread, but I did and was able to change the name to something that enhances the experience for my members-rather than having to figure out coding to get rid of it.
