Email activation code says “invalid activation key”

    Wordpress version 4.3
    Buddypress Version 2.3.3
    Website : http://viajesdespegar.com/pvarma/wordpress

    Issue : When a user finishes the registration process, and an email activation link is sent – the link gives an error “Invalid activation key.” on clicking/pasting on browser/entering the key manually.

    No plugins used, the only plugin is Buddypress. The standard Twenty Fifteen theme used.

    It’s a fresh install on WordPress and Buddypress, i am just trying to see how Buddypress is. I have been going through the forum to find answers, but most of the topics are closed by calling it an “old issue”, and the old threads did not solve my issue either.

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Update : The activation code works with gmail, but not with another provider called “rediffmail”. Wierd.

    For me it’s working with mailinator but not with thunderbird client.
