Email Group Members by Type?

    Hi, does anyone have any suggestions for emailing Group Members?

    I’m looking for a way to allow Admin/Group Mods to email (not message) Group Members — ideally something with an option to select “All Members” or to select a “Member Type” so I can send different emails to different types of members within a group.

    I don’t really want the emails to be added to the Group activity/feed.

    Any suggestions?

    Out of the options available I reckon this is best.

    Thanks @venutius, I’ve looked at this but it doesn’t filter Member Types. I’ll try and contact the developer and see if there is a way to add the functionality.

    Interestingly, just re-testing “LH Buddypress Email or Message Group Members” and it doesn’t appear to send Emails to all users anyway – as far as I can tell it only sends emails to members who are logged in at the time the email is sent.

    BuddyPress Group Email Subscription – https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/ does work as described but again doesn’t have the options I need 😕

    Yes, Member types, in my view was never properly implemented, and as a result, overlooked by most plugins.
