Email Subscriptions for Blog Posts

I am wondering how to offer email subscriptions to to blog posts (Feedburner) to my website users.
Since the users are already registering using buddypress registration form, do I have to again ask them to fill their email id to subscribe to blog posts by email. This can be annoying.
How can these two things be integrated. Any other solution?
