as well as [youtube video_id] using embed video plugin

    as well as [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=video_id]

But nothing works.I can only see the code with a hyperlink in my post.

    Hi mohitkro5,

It sounds like you’re trying to use WordPress shortcodes in Buddypress fields.

Where are you trying to embed your videos?

BuddyPress doesn’t allow WordPress shortcodes to work in profile fields, wire posts and group forum posts.

bbPress has a few plugins to parse videos.

    Ahh okay.

Are you sure you enabled your video plugin on your BuzzTV blog?

Check to see if your video plugin is indeed enabled.

You probably need this plugin. It’s an annoying WPMU issue.

I have tried to use the Smart-YouTube-plugin, but somehow this is not working with the “httpv://” stuff.

I just would like to use YouTube-Videos on my main Blog and also on User-Blogs.

But I would like to use the “EMBED-Code” which YouTube is providing.

I do not want to just paste the YouTube Video-URL, I would like to paste the EMBED-Code.

Is there any other plugin out there or any other chance how to do this ?
