Hi,

I’m trying to create a topic and I’m receiving this error:

ERROR: Duplicate topic detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that.

which is not true, because I created only one other topic and is completed unrelated.

BuddyPress does not handle forum functionality.

I think you meant to post your topic on the bbpress.org/forums instead.

Sorry, I didn’t understand your reply. I meant that I’m trying to create a topic here, in this “How-to & Troubleshooting” forum and got this message.

I guess the answer is to try saying it differently in the post, not sure why that would happen

It’s difficult to say, this forum sometimes plays up for me, refusing to let me reply to a topic due to me triggering some keyword block.
