Error in multiple Delete Selected , Mark as Read,Mark as Unread

Wordpress version 5.0.1
Buddypress version 2.8.2

When I try to make an action like bulk “mark as read, delete selected” are not working. The Ajax response shows -1 value. Earlier version it worked successfully.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

This has been filed as a bug, but was too late to make v2.9:
https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/7569

There is a patch attached with a fix if you want to fix this temporarily.

Thank you for your replay. I faced same issue in bulk message delete. Please help me to resolve the issue.
