Error in saving profile but data is saved

Hi! When I try to modify my profile, I get the error: “There was a problem updating some of your profile information, please try again.”. But I see that the data I changed is still saved. Please help! Thanks!

I’m having this same issue, but on a newer version of BP (1.7.1). I’ve submitted a ticket to report this bug, https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5046#ticket. The error doesn’t occur if *all* fields of the extended profile are filled out.
