existing wordpress site ot buddy press

Just want to ask if our new wordpress site http://www.harvesteating.com which was built using thesis theme, can be converted to buddy press so we can use the social features of buddy press

I had asked my developer this awhile ago..cant remember what he said..so thought I would inquire here.

any pointers? site is on wordpress.org now…self hosted…

Hi Keith

It should be as simple as copying all of the templates from the BuddyPress theme and pasting them into the WordPress theme. Be sure to copy and paste over all of the CSS from the BuddyPress theme also.

I expect you won’t want to overwrite any files that may already be in your thesis theme (index.php, for example).

You’ll have to move from wordpress to wpmu first. http://mu.wordpress.org
