Howdy Guys,

I’ve working on a project at the moment that requires more information from the user during the signup procedure.

I’ve worked with wordpress for years but this is my first buddypress project.

Basically I need to accept date of birth.

Is there a simple way to add a custom field to the register screen but then also save this information away into the database.
