Facebook-like mention (@ username is not readable and confusing)

In buddypress when I mention someone it shows in his profile like this:
(my avatar) @someone_username ..text
I would like to change it to a more readable one as follow:
1- instead of username, I would like to show full name
2- instead of @user_name I want to show it like this:
(my avatar) >>> (someone_small_avatar) someone_fullname ..text
do you have any idea how to do that ?
