Facebuddy theme

    Hello

    I’m using the last version of WPMU (2.9.1) and BP (1.1.3).

    I really want to have the facebuddy theme of buddydress.com, but their website is kind of offline: you can’t register, so you can’t download. They don’t have a forum or a support contact, so I’m asking one of you guys: does someone have the Facebuddy theme on his computer?

    But if i’ve installed the facebuddy-home-theme v1.0, my website stops working. The adminpanel still works fine. What could be the problem?

    it isn’t update to work with the newest version of BP.

    Yeah, I just discovered it. I tried to update it, but it just doesn’t work. Is it possible to download an older version of BP? Or do you know someone who updated the FB-theme himself?

    Yeah, I know. But the problem is, I can’t afford it.

    then I don’t know what to do.. You can try to save some money or try it make it yourself if you have css/xthml experience. If not you might wait a while because I heard that Xevo from this forum is working on a FB based theme on his soon to launch site http://www.bpninja.com

    Owkee. I managed to set up the member-template, but the home-template is still a problem. (http://brouwersnet.nl/las)

    Besides, in the member-template the fonts are very big (http://brouwersnet.nl/las/members/admin)

    Edit: both are working currently. But on both templates the font is very big! Is it a problem with the CSS-template of the design or is it WPMU/BP which causes the problem?

    Edit: Found it out myself. I just had to edit something in the CSS. :D

    I stumbled uppon another problem.

    Two actually. First of all: if i try to add an custom profile field, it says that there’s a problem adding it. Second of all: the delfault custom profile doesn’t show up.

    Who can help me?

    the older version have a lot of bug, if you want solve update to the latest ;) this is a problem for you, i know, but i think this is the best way…

    Yeah. But then I’ve to update the theme also. I tried that already, but then it doesn’t work at all.

    You will not get support for issues or bugs when running BuddyPress 1.0; there have also been a few security fixes. You have been warned.

    With regards to the theme, if you are unable to purchase a theme or a designer, then the only way is to learn HTML, CSS and WordPress theming.

    I think it’s forbidden to share (buddydress license), but there’re still somethings I’ve to code :p

    Okay :p

    I took the parent theme as base and the classic theme as child theme. So I’ve put the scripts of Facebuddy in the parent theme (but made sure that some files were not changed) and I’ve put all the style sheets and images in the child theme. It worked, but there were some issues, which I’ve fixed. But there’re still some with the profile page, but I think it’s fixable :p
