Fatal Error on Fresh Install ??

Hi there, I’m getting a fatal error on a fresh wp / bp install. I followed all steps correctly:

Here’s the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /home/freework/public_html/new/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 564

Any ideas?

BuddyPress needs WordPress MU to run. You are trying to install it on regular WordPress.

DJ Paul so what do I do if that is the case? I have the same error Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /home/ilgdaily/public_html/ilgapplied/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 564

I really need to get this back up and running as it directs my business.

Delete BuddyPress from your plugins folder and visit the admin backend of your site and go to the plugins page. It should tidy itself up automatically.

http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/ is what I meant.
