    I would like to know how do you add a flash slideshow to the homepage in buddypress. I want the slideshow to be pictures of articles and by clicking on the picture it takes you to the artilce.

    I don’t think you mean “flash slideshows”, what you’re really looking for is “jquery slideshows”. Just install a regular jquery WordPress plugin and activate it on your main website. Here’s one that I’ve used for a client’s site. I’ve disabled the links for the pictures, but you can set it to make each photo a link.
