Is it possible, or is there a plugin available to devide group forums in categories?

For example:

Group: Members

Forums: General

Media

Artists

Interesting idea. I was thinking the same thing. Why should a group only have one forum. Why not sub-forums as well?

I’d say that the last thing BP needs is yet another layer of abstraction on top of actual user interaction. Just use tags! The forums view ajax autofilters to tag view when you click on one, and you could quite easily create a dropdown list to limit the tags available to the users rather than just making it a textbox. Presto! Instant ‘categories’!

Tags, however, would require that a user knows to tag his topic so that it shows up under the correct category. It would be much more handy to have categories that a forum administrator can organize.
