forum display/use

    ive installed an external version of bbpress. how do i get it to display on buddypress? ive done the integration within buddypress and it says it installed but when i click the forums tab its just showing nothing as if no posts/topics/forums have been created. i am using WP with buddypress 1.2.1 thx
