I am getting a bit frustrated. I understand that the current buddypress install comes with forum functionality. My problem is, I just don’t like it unless I am not understanding something. I want a more traditional forum. I have found a very nice site I like with an integrated forum using wp forum server here.

He said this was integrated easily with buddypress but haven’t been able to find any info on how to make this integrate on google. Here is my site I am trying to put it on. http://actingbuzz.com

Any insight or tips are greatly appreciated. My main problem is that I don’t like having to use groups to build the forum. I want to create the groups and discussion topics in more of a traditional forum look and feel. I hope this is clear. Thanks for any input.

Jeff- Thanks for the quick response. So I understand this is not possible currently with BBpress. However, on the kevjumba site they were able to accomplish what I would like to do. Any thoughts on how they were able to accomplish this? Thanks

I was able to accomplish this by simply installing https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/forum-server/
