On the activity wall (e.g. http://domain.com/activity/) it seems like Forum topic Links that the user can click on to go to the post in context are mal-formed, here is what they look like:

As you can see it’s a multi-page discussion so it’s really important that they go straight to the post they clicked on.

However that links takes them to the first page, and they would have to sift through all the pages to find the part of the conversation they were looking for.

Any ideas what’s wrong? It seems like the URL is too long for Buddypress or something, but actually all Multi-Page Forum Topics in Buddypress format like that?

Also, this is how the URL is supposed to be generating:

I get that from the little # sign next to each forum topic post (the permalink)

But on the activity wall it’s not generating right and I can’t figure out why?

Any ideas? It actually works on the sub-pages so If I look at the users profile Activity wall it displays the full link to the Forum Topic, but on the /activity wall it seems to shorten it for some reason.
