Forums problem. Unable to create a topic, no Post Topic Button

Ok. I’ve started fresh, just in case my install was broke.

I am running WP 2.9.2 and the BuddyPress 1.2.4.1 version.

I setup BuddyPress, setup the forums (from inside the BuddyPress configuration), I go into forums on the main site and while there is a place to type a new topic title, body and tags, there is no Post Topic button showing up. I am logged in as the site administrator, so I am unsure what’s going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
