Hi,

Using PHP 7.2, I notice some messages from the amazing “Query Monitor” WordPress plugin regarding a deprecated function used by BuddyPress:

Message: Function create_function() is deprecated 
Count: 26 
File: wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/deprecated/1.6.php:268

Using this function is higly discouraged by PHP itself as you can check here:
http://php.net/manual/en/function.create-function.php

I wish I could propose a workaround but I don’t speak PHP, I just wanted to warn devs for future updates. Hopefully this post gets seen by the right persons.
