get_blog_option(): Fatal error

Hello!

I just wanted to activate BuddyPress but this error occured:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_info() in /***/htdocs/******/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 421

What’s wrong and how can I fix it?

Sorry, but I forgot to say that I use WordPress 2.8 and the newest version of BuddyPress
