Gravatar / normal picture-upload instead ?

looking at the website of Gravatar.com, it is in english-language only.
As my users are only speaking german-language, is there a chance to let my users to upload their Profile-picture on the website directly, without using the Gravatar-function at all ?
Or at least to have 2 options:
– using Gravatar-function
– using direct picture-upload
