why are the group-avatar-images at this website not showing ?

It just shows the text “Group Avatar”, but no images…..

They work for me. I get all sorts of kaleidoscope shaped avatars for groups.

Can you link me to where you’re seeing the problem?

Things are going to break for a while here as this site runs the trunk of BuddyPress. Until I can go back and work on backwards compat you are going to see a few minor issues.
