Group Avatar Issue

Hello All:

It appears I am having issues trying to change or update group avatars. While I can can change my profile avatar, I am unable to change the avatar for any the groups I created. I receive a page with a message stating:

PERMISSION DENIED

Not Found / No Access

The page you are looking for either does not exist, or you do not have the permissions to access it.

I am using a plain install of WPMU 2.7 and BuddyPress 1.0b2. Everything else seems to be working fine. Are there specific permissions that need to be set for the groups? Setting the avatar folder to 777 seems to make no difference.

Update to the most recent trunk. There was a bug in the group avatar upload directory area.

p.s. I enjoy the architectural style of your school.

What is the file name that I should download?

You need a SVN client to do svn co https://svn.buddypress.org/trunk. Then in future you can run svn update to update to the latest “trunk” copy. It’s a bit hard to go further into specifics as I don’t know what Operating System you use, but have a google around if you get stuck.`

I believe the following file was missing from my Beta 2 download:

wp-content/member-themes/YOURSITE-member/groups/admin/group-avatar.php

Using SVN with the most recent trunk fixed the issue. Hope this helps!

ok, im at https://svn.buddypress.org/trunk/

and I have TortoiseSVN downloaded, installed + firefox addon

whats the procedure to get the most recent trunk? (know where I can find a simple 1,2,3 step guide online?)
