Group Creation stops at step 3

As per a previous post about Group Creation stopping at step 3 ( http://buddypress.org/forums/topic/group-creation-stops-at-step-3#post-18362 ). I’ve updated my installation of BuddyPress to 1.1-rc and wordpress mu to 2.8.4a
I still receive the error “Please complete all previous steps first.”
Anyone have a good direction to point me in?
