Bumping 12 minutes after your first post is Not Clever. You’ve been warned.
Sorry but I’m desperate for help.
Oops… I meant if you’re using the default BP Member theme, you should edit:
/wp-content/bp-themes/bpmember/groups/group-menu.php
Yea thanks for the advice but should this stuff work out of the box? Its not like I deleted any code here.
Nope, it doesn’t work out of the box.
You could request it as an enhancement though.
Login with the same username and password as you use on buddypress.org.
So even after you integrate bbpress you still have to manually get the authors to show up?
Diego, think of the BP Member template as a starter template (like how the Kubrick template is the starter template for WordPress!).
You have to build upon the template to get what you want to achieve.
Yes I understand but how come the demo site and every other site the option to filter the SITE WIDE ACTIVITY widget by blogs, groups etc.. and my installation doesn’t. Small things like that make me wonder.
The testbp.org site is running on the latest developmental version of BuddyPress.
That isn’t ready for primetime yet; wait a couple of weeks for the release of BuddyPress 1.1 and you’ll get all the new features!
Diego, just read your trac ticket and I think I understand what you’re saying now.
You’re saying that there’s no link to the comment author in your BP forum’s post.
You should definitely describe the issue in detail next time.
Disregard what I’ve written previously.

Re-download BP 1.0.3 and make sure your BP files match up, particularly your “bp-themes/bpmember” folder.
