Group invite email not sending

I’m trying to send an invite to a member to join a group, but the email is not sending.
I don’t really have anymore info than that. I have tried trouble shooting and deactivating other plugins. I have updated everything on the site. But for whatever reason, the invites are not being emailed.
Anyone have any ideas?
