Hello, I am using the bp-columns theme. Not very many 3rd party plugins are being used. I have buddypress 1.2.7, +wordpress 3.04

I have a support group on my site. I have a user that is trolling to everyone, so I decided to ban him from the group.

Saying “user banned successfully” I assumed that did the trick.

Well he just rejoined within a few hours, and I was like “how???”

So I pinpointed that if you ban a member from a group, they can just re-join via posting a forum reply!

Please help!

Known bug. I fixed this in https://trac.buddypress.org/changeset/3537/ which will be part of BuddyPress 1.3.

No, it went into trunk which will become the 1.3 release.
