Hey all… been having a lot of fun creating my first BP, but I’ve run into a snag that hopefully someone out there can help me with.

I’m putting together a site that I’d like to have a hierarchy of groups with. For example:

1) Fruits
1.1) Apples
1.2) Oranges

2) Vegetables
2.1) Tomatoes
2.2) Eggplant

I have installed the “BP Group Categories/Types” plugin, which works wonderfully as it defines 1.1’s parent as 1, etc… and when I am in 1, it shows a list of “Sub-Categories.”

MY PROBLEM: I would like the Groups page to display ONLY parent groups, like 1 and 2. Not 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, etc. How can I define what the Groups page displays? I’ve thought about hiding/privatizing sub groups but that hides it from the parent group’s “sub” page as well.

Hoping, praying that someone out there has the answer…
