Groups creation

    Wordpress version – 4.5.3 running suffusion theme
    Buddypress version – 2.6.1.1

    On the groups page the ‘groups’ button does not allow the creation of groups, even when logged in as admin. The only way I can create a group as an admin is to go to the dashboard and do this from there. I would like users to be able to create their own groups. Even when logged in as a contributor who has that role allowed, this is not possible as the add group function does not appear in their dashboard, and the add group button does not work on the groups page. Also on both the groups and member pages the search bar is cut off at the top so is not useable.
