Groups widget not showing description

    When displaying the buddypress groups widget on the sidebar, it only shows image and title of the group. I something wrong or was this just not included. How could I fix it to show the description? I am using version BP v2.3.3 due to another plugin compatibility.

    It’s intended so. Sidebars are close.

    What do you mean by sidebars are “close”? Do you mean you must be signed in to see the description or that I must set group to public? Is there a way to show descrition to folks who are not signed in?
