HELP! – Changing text in member search area

I’m currently trying to make edits to a clients buddypress website, although i’m not an expert. They have a members page which lists all members, and the line of text that reads “viewing 1-17 active members” needs an edit. How do I do this?

    Many thanks in advance

    Daniel

You should be able to change the wording using the translation file and poedit.

I also recommend using WPT Custom MO File to manage your translations.

Is there an easier way to make a one-off edit? I simply want to know where in the backend of the site, or more specifically where within the plugin/edit I can find and edit this line of text.

No one in my office has used this plugin before, and so we’re a bit stuck here.

Don’t think there is, that comes from a core file, any change to that directly would be over-written in the next update, which would probably be a couple of weeks away.

Thanks for all of your help. It’s much appreciated.
