have you tried restarting services, like your mysql service?
Nope, how would I go about doing that? I’m on a shared host here in the UK and they’re not fantastic at giving away info – i’m a bit of a n00b when it comes to servers, php and mysql
since you are on shared, you won’t have that option. i would try removing any additional plugins you have running, to eliminate those 1st. disable any through the site admin menu and remove anything other than buddypress in mu-plugins.
EDIT: also check and make 100% sure you have a .htaccess file, not just the htaccess.dist
Cheers dude – i’ll give that a go and let you know how I get on
Possibly the accidental upgrade press screwed up at least part of your Db – there’s a few missing column errors in the bit you posted.
cool guys thanks for looking – I’ll let u know how i get on with the recovery
