Help with BuddyPress and bbPress! My forums are not where they should be
-
Hi folks,
I’m hoping someone can help me out here. It may just be a problem of me staring at this thing for to long to see an obvious answers.
First, I’m running BuddyPress 1.5.1 and bbPress 2.0. New installation of both as of yesterday. WordPress 3.2 (latest stable build). My site is http://www.trollitc.com. I’m running the Suffusion theme as well.
From day one, my forums have not been working properly. Here’s how it’s set up:
On the Pages section of BP, the page for the forums is set to “forums”.
In bbPress, the archive slug for the forum base is called “Discuss”. (I tried using Forums but it reported a conflict).
When I create a new forum I’ve called “test”, here’s where I can find it: http://trollitc.com/Discuss/forum/test/
If I go to http://trollitc.com/forums I get redirected to my home page. If I go to Pages link from my main page, I get directed to http://trollitc.com/discuss/, which doesn’t exist.
I’ve cleared my cache and have dented my monitor from banging my head into it. Any suggestions, help or even a weekly support group would be very much appreciated. If you need more info, I’m happy to oblige.
Thanks
Ben
